Detailed Product Description
Boron carbide is melted from boric acid and powdered carbon in electric furnace under high temperature. Its density is 2.52g/cm3, melting point 2450; micro hardness 4950kgf/mm2, only next to diamond and cubic boron nitride. Due to its high strength, low gravity, corrosion-resistant, high-temperature-resistant and stable chemical nature, it is ideal for a wide range of applications.
